Ivan Kilgore, was actually born in Wewoka Oklahoma to an African American mother and African American, Native American father. His father was born in Boley Oklahoma, during the early twenties.
Boley became an African American town of unprecedented commercial and economic success that existed Twenty years prior to the legendary “Black Wall Street” which today is Tulsa Oklahoma.
Money hardships, redundancy, hardship, and widespread law-breaking through a Differential Association Theory forced him into a life of drug dealing to stay alive.
